#STL2039 Workshop

6-hour session, suitable for teams. This is an intermediate-level, interactive session that can be offered in-person or virtually. 

Participants are invited to attend in teams of three to five from their institution to this full-day, 6 hour workshop on actionable Racial Equity visioning. There is a week in between the dates of the workshop modules to allow participants to share learnings with their organizations and build the responses. Facilitators will use frameworks and tools from the Ferguson Commission Report, FTF’s Path to Racial Equity,  the #STL2039 Action Plan, and more. Participants will determine and name the role their organization can play in accelerating action towards #STL2039.

#STL2039 is our bold vision for a future St. Louis where Racial Equity is the reality, 25 years after the killing of Michael Brown and #Ferguson. A future state where are systems (justice, health, transportation, housing, and more) work well for all people, so that disparities are closed and all residents—regardless of race or zip code—have justice and the opportunity to thrive. It can be a powerful tool to align efforts to transformational, measurable outcomes and activate to solve root causes instead of symptoms.

Registration & Fees:

We are looking for organizations that:

  • Can bring a team of 3-5 people.
  • Have already begun some base conversations, training, or steps on Racial Equity in their organization and want to deepen their commitment, understanding, and action.

The #STL2039 Workshop fee is $2,500 per team virtually, and $5,000 per team in person. (group of max 5 people virtually, and max of 10 people in person). Scholarships available based on an application process.
