Vernique May is currently an Associate Director of Advancement for the Olin Business School at Washington University in St. Louis and joined WashU in April 2022. In this role, Vernique is responsible for fundraising efforts in the Annual Giving and Leadership lanes for the Olin Business School, as well as programmatic responsibilities of managing the Olin Alumni Board and the Women’s Mentor Program. Other higher education roles have also been held with both the University of Missouri-St. Louis and Southeast Missouri State University. She is currently the owner/lead photographer for Brand V Photographie, a digital photography company she started in 2013, and has over 20 years of digital photography experience.

Vernique holds a Bachelors of Arts degree in Communications from the University of Missouri-St. Louis, as well as a Masters of Business Administration from Fontbonne University. She is currently working on a Marketing certificate from Washington University in St. Louis.
