“Path to” Racial Equity Workshops

5-hour sessions, suitable for individuals and teams. Beginner to intermediate level content.

The Path to Racial Equity Workshop is a 5-hour workshop designed to ground participants in the foundational tenets of FTF’s theory of change, through the lens of their sector or field. Facilitators will offer shared learning, engage participants in application activities, and guide the groups in a radically candid reflection on where participants are on their journey to moving further along the continuum towards Racial Equity. This October, we are offering virtual workshops on Path to Racial Equity through Data & Research and Path to Racial Equity for Storytellers.

Path to Racial Equity through Data & Research (NEW)–Virtual on Friday, October 4, 2024, 9am-2pm

Attendees will learn shared language on concepts connecting racial equity, systems change, and field-specific strategies for achieving Racial Equity in Data & Research.

Path to Racial Equity for Storytellers (NEW)–Thursday, October 10, 9am-2pm

Attendees will learn shared language on concepts connecting racial equity, systems change, and field-specific strategies for achieving Racial Equity in Storytelling. This session is designed for Journalists, Writers, Podcasters, Creatives in multimedia arts, and those who seek to preserve the legacy of the Ferguson Uprising.

Registration & Fees:

$300 per person for in-person workshops, and $150 per person for virtual sessions.

Team members within an institution, collaborative partnerships, or institutions from the same sector are encouraged to participate together or schedule a session to be presented to your organization or initiative.
