Evaluate Effectiveness of Technology
Law enforcement agencies statewide shall include an evaluation or assessment process to gauge the
effectiveness of any new technology, soliciting input from all levels of the agency, from line officer to leadership, as well as assessment from members of the community. Exceptions shall be made for proprietary technology the public knowledge of which would impede law enforcement’s capabilities. Applicant screening practices and confidentiality policies endorsed by Citizen Review Boards shall be applied to participating citizens.
