Ellen is a marketing and project management professional with over a decade of agency experience, paired with a passion for community engagement and aquatic sports. Ellen claims Chicago as her hometown and St. Louis as a wonderful adopted home since 2014. She currently serves the Gateway Region YMCA as an Aquatic Department Program Manager. At the Mid-County Y, Ellen facilitates aquatic opportunities for growth, education, and healthy lifestyles, to all. As head coach of St. Louis Y Synchro, the only competitive Artistic Swimming program in the area, Ellen fosters a motivational and supportive environment for STL youth. Ellen holds a bachelor’s degree in Cultural Anthropology and Art History from Boston University.
