First Responder Alternative Coalition

Forward Through Ferguson convenes the First Responder Alternative Coalition, which works to create a pilot network of non-police first responders that can provide expedient, trauma-responsive and empathetic community care for people in crisis.

Coalition Goals

  • Build community awareness and buy-in, focusing outreach especially in those areas that may be within the pilot geography.
  • Engage in legislative advocacy (to ensure bill passage and/or allocation of funding for the Pilot Program).
  • Support planning and implementation of FRA Pilot Program.
