Janaé (YAH-nay) is a Saint Louis University alum who received a Bachelor of Arts in Leadership & Organizational Behavior with a specialization in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI). Throughout her college career, she staunchly championed causes aimed at addressing societal injustices beyond the confines of the classroom.
Janaé is dedicated to creating a more equitable world for Black and Brown folk in America. As an organizational and community change agent, she has disrupted racist systems in St. Louis by supporting child advocacy, early childhood education, and diversity and inclusion initiatives.
Janaé now serves as the Communications Catalyst at Forward Through Ferguson, dedicated to growing the organization’s visibility and impact through the powerful principles of storytelling. In her own words, “It is time that the untold stories are told, and I will be the one to tell them.” With a focus on driving change within communities and organizations, Janaé leverages her expertise in strengthening nonprofit organizations, fostering meaningful stakeholder engagement, and delivering tangible social impact.
