Justin Raymundo (he/they) serves as the Director of Workforce Strategy, where they lead the regional talent strategy for the bioscience industry in the St. Louis metro including healthcare, life sciences, biotechnology, biomanufacturing, and agtech. Through this work, Justin works alongside industry, academic, community, and government stakeholders to grow and evolve an inclusive, STEM workforce that fuels innovation, advances critical technologies, and enables a resilient and growing innovation economy. Further, Justin facilitates inclusive, innovation ecosystem-building efforts that ensure benefits of the innovation economy are shared equitably.
In addition to their formal role at BioSTL, Justin contributes to strong workforce systems that enable economic growth and equity at the local, state, and national levels as the Chair of the Workforce Development Board of the City of St. Louis, a member of the State of Missouri’s Public Healthcare and Healthcare Workforce Advisory Council, and an education and workforce development fellow of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation.
