Leslie McClure, PhD, is Dean of the College for Public Health and Social Justice at Saint Louis University. As Dean, Leslie oversees the research and educational missions of the college, as well as engagement with the community. She is a researcher who seeks to understand the factors contributing to health inequities and a mentor interested in ensuring a more diverse STEM workforce.
Leslie has a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from the University of Kansas, a Master’s in Preventive Medicine and Environmental Health from the University of Iowa, and earned her PhD in Biostatistics at the University of Michigan. Leslie lives in St. Louis with her husband and dog, and is the mother of two most-adult children.
